Carrying the theme “The Essence of Infinite Innovation”, the upcoming Indonesia International furniture Expo (IFEX) 2017 will feature a wide range of products by around 500 exhibitors will showcase finest rattan, outdoor furniture and home decor in the 60,000-square-meters space.

Last year event was participated by 463 exhibitors, including 28 overseas furniture makers from 9 countries, and attracted 9,140 buyers from 112 countries. The International Furniture Expo (IFEX) would play a significant role in helping the country to achieve its target of $5 billion in exports of furniture and crafts in the next four years.

The Indonesia furniture and handicraft industry is labor-intensive and it employs 2.1 million workers. With Indonesia furniture exports last year total $1.7 billion, making Indonesia the 18th-biggest furniture exporter in the world.
